Learn how to use the BitMind Browser Extension to detect AI generated content.

Prerequisites

• Install the free Chrome extension.

How to use the extension

1. After installing the extension, you will see a new icon in the top right of your browser.
2. Click on the icon to open the extension.
3. You can choose to either sign in with your existing BitMind account, or continue as an anonymous user.
4. Once you are signed in, click the Enable Scanning button.
5. When you hover over an image, the extension will send the image for analysis.
6. Once a result is available, the extension will display the result as an overlay in the top right of the image.

Passive mode

You can optionally hide the overlay by unselecting the Show overlay option on the main extension page. Hovered images will still be sent for analysis, but the result will not be displayed.

Points

Earn points for detecting AI generated content. Every time you send an image for analysis, you will earn 1 point.

History

View the history of detected AI content by clicking on the Clock icon in the top right of the extension.

Sign out

You can sign out of the extension by clicking on the Cog icon in the top right of the extension and then clicking Sign out.
